Hi everyone and happy Friday to you!
Boy, things sure have been crazy this week. The Babe has been sick since Monday, and we've been trapped in the house. In addition to dealing with a cranky baby, though, I've been out of some supplies I need to wrap up a few projects. So, the bottom line is that I haven't been very productive. You'll give me a pass this week, right?! Pretty please?
Being stuck inside during a hot week in North Carolina has left me very eager for a vacation, and I found myself reminiscing through some old photos. I found the image below that Mr. Man and I took out of the plane somewhere in the western US about 2 years ago. I've made that trip a million times, but I still find myself fascinated by all the shapes you see from the sky. There's just something creative and artsy about it. Even better than looking at old photos, though, is the promise of a new trip. I'm beyond happy to say that we'll be taking The Babe on her first trip out west in just over a week. More on that later!
For now, have a fabulous weekend! Hope you make some great memories and if you're lucky enough to be on a trip or vacation, know that I'm jealous! See you next week!

Gotta love corn fields and irrigation pivots! :) Great pic!
ReplyDeleteYou've got a really great blog! Thanks for stopping by mine so I could check out yours!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I am doing my first ever giveaway--a blog redesign! Check it out if you're interested!
Gorgeous! Hope the babe is feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteCool picture. I love the views from an airplane, too. It is very graphic and interesting to think what a difference perspective makes in terms of how it looks. Maybe this week with the babe will also look a little better with some distance :). Good luck on the upcoming travel.
ReplyDeletePS - Loving the new blog design!!

I thought this photo was a marble mosaic before I read the post. I thought, "how did she do that?"
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful!
