A Vegetarian Burrito...Duh

Even with all of the scary stuff going on with Will, we still find ways to laugh around here.  That has been SOO important to me.  Keeping things "normal" (whatever that means for us!) is important for Emme and I'm so happy we've been able to keep our humor when life continues throwing us curve balls.

Earlier last week, I wrote a post that mentioned how I had a great swollen, red eye.  This is what I looked like for the majority of the week.  I received so many sympathetic glances from the cashiers at the grocery and craft stores when I checked out.  Yes, I look like a super pregnant chick that received a nice whack in the eye.  I promise I'm not being abused.  It's just another curveball in this journey.  The doctors didn't have a clue what caused it and after a few days it finally went away.  At one point during the week, though, Carlton did look at me and just laugh.  At this point we can't do anything but giggle when yet another random, undiagnosable thing happens during this pregnancy.

The last little funny I'll leave with you is this... We went out for lunch on Saturday to Qdoba.  Carlton and I got to do a little grocery run on our own without The Babe in tow and as I stood in line ordering, the girl behind the counter looked at me with a HUGE smile on her face and asked me what I was having.  I simply replied, "a vegetarian burrito".  Her smile immediately disappeared and I suddenly noticed she had been rubbing her belly the whole time.  Oopsie!  Make that a vegetarian burrito and a special little baby, BOY!
