I am thankful each day to have such an amazing, supportive partner. We have had our share of joys and excitement, but we've also had many trials that could have easily pulled us apart. What I love most about my hubby is the way he balances me... I fear the worst; he hopes for the best. I sweat the small stuff; he only worries about the big picture. I certainly don't know how I would have survived all of the trials of my pregnancy with Will and preparing for his birth without the amazing support from Carlton. He truly helped keep me sane and focused. His optimism in the face of such adversity inspired me to no end. Love you, babe, and here's to many, many more hopefully less stress inducing years! ;)

Also, may we always remember this blessing from our wedding ceremony on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
May our love always be as constant and unchanging as the
never-ending waves that wash upon these shores.
